Leaders in Building a Better World
Together, with our partners, we’re driven to build a better world. Together, we speak to the changemakers.
The Social Entrepreneur. The Nonprofit Executive Director. The CSR Manager. The Purpose-Driven CEO. The Student. The Activist. The Academic. The Organizer.
Those who can’t not do anything but use their time and energy to do good.
And together, we’re committed to lead on crafting a vision for how a better world can and should look. So that together, with purpose and intention, we know where to go.

Dean’s Beans was Founded in 1993 by environmental and indigenous rights lawyer Dean Cycon. Dean’s Beans’ mission is to use coffee as a vehicle for positive change, pioneering in the fields of social responsibility, social justice, sustainability, and ecological stewardship.
Dean’s Beans pays farmers far more than the Commodity price for their coffee, creating a foundation from which they can feed and educate their families, improve their farms, and continue to be good stewards of the earth. The company was the first to produce carbon-negative coffee by planting one tree in Pangoa Cooperative in Peru for every 17 pounds of coffee it sells, and Dean’s Beans has been carbon-negative company-wide since 2014.
